Summary of Qualifications

Dennis Bolles is a certified Project Management Professional (PMPâ) with nearly 25 years experience in increasing professional performance levels within many organizations.  Mr. Bolles excels in developing multi-functional teams to improve business workflow processes utilizing Six Sigma and other methods to achieve “world-class” capabilities in meeting the needs of internal and external customers.  He is a published author of many project management articles, and a book entitled Building Project Management Centers of Excellence, released by Amacom in June 2002.

Professional Experience

·        Appointed Project Manager by the Project Management Institute (PMIâ) Standards Program Membership Advisory Group in December 2001 to lead a diverse virtual team in excess of 200 global members in a three-year project to update the PMI American National Standard (ANSI), the PMBOK® Guide 2000 Edition, to the PMBOKâ Guide 2004 Edition.

·        Led automotive tier-one supplier teams through multiple launch projects for new vehicle launch programs for General Motors, Ford, Daimler Chrysler, Honda Motors and Toyota Motors.

·        For a major furniture OEM, led a team that developed and won $124 million contract by the U. S. government to install new office systems in 10,000 facilities in a four-year period.

·        Managed multiple projects for project management consulting, architectural, construction, engineering services, tier one & tier two automotive suppliers, and office / medical systems provider companies.

·        Prepared and facilitated multiple Project Management Institute (PMIâ) PMPâ Certification Study classes for individual companies as well as two Michigan PMIâ Chapters involving approximately 250 participants.

·        Authored and distributed project management methodology guidelines, policies, processes, tools, and templates for multiple business units in U.S., European, and Brazilian automotive OEM operations.
